“Depression is the family secret that everyone has,” says Andrew Solomon. Mental health issues are one of the most ignored topics that haunt us relentlessly today. A WHO study says that India is the most depressed country in the world, with 36% of Indians having suffered from major depression. Most suicides in India happen in the age group of 15-29. “20 percent of the population is likely to be suffering from some form of mental illness by 2020,” says a government report.
